I received my Bachelor of Music degree with specialization in Music Therapy from Michigan State University in 1995 . I currently serve as the Contemporary Worship Leader, Organist and Director of Children’s Music Ministries at the Portland United Methodist Church. I have been a member of ACDA (American Choral Directors Association), MSVMA (Michigan Schools Vocal Music Association) and MMTA (Michigan Music Teacher’s Association)

I taught elementary music at St. Pats for 9 years and directed the Portland Public School Choirs for 13 years. I have both directed and accompanied many shows for the Portland Civic Players.

I also served 3 years as Vocal Coach for the professional acappella quartet Three Men and a Tenor.
